​Among Us is a multiplayer video game for four to fifteen players set on a spaceship. In each game, a host is responsible for creating the match and selecting the number of “impostors” that the session will have, who are players that must sabotage tasks and kill the other crew members of the ship without being discovered. The latter, in turn, are responsible for discovering the impostors and carrying out the “maintenance tasks” of the vehicle. A game can take place on one of the five available maps: The Skeld, set inside a ship, Mira HQ, set in a space station, Polus, set in a research base, The Airship, located in an airship, or The Fungle, set in a mushroom jungle.At the beginning of the game, the crew members are assigned “tasks” to complete around the map in the form of mini-games, which consist of maintenance work on vital systems such as electrical rewiring and refueling the engine. Their purpose is to sabotage vital systems, travel covertly through air vents, and work with other impostors to kill crew members.If a player dies, they become a ghost, who can pass through walls, be invisible to everyone except other ghosts, and cannot communicate with living players; however, their tasks remain active.All players except ghosts have a limited field of vision, which only allows them to see other players within a certain distance around them.

Crew members win by completing all tasks or identifying and eliminating all impostors. In contrast, impostors are victorious when the number of impostors equals the number of crewmates or a sabotage countdown reaches zero. Ghosts assist their living teammates by completing tasks (as a crew member) or performing sabotage (as an imposter). When an impostor carries out sabotage, the operation of the ship or location is altered and, for example, the lights go out or a countdown begins. In the latter case, if the sabotage is not resolved before the countdown ends, the impostors win. Sabotages can be resolved by living players in different ways depending on the type of sabotage being carried out. The game also ends when players abandon a game and secure some victory condition; a player quitting is equivalent to being eliminated, and a teammate quitting causes their tasks to be considered completed for the total.​

Play online or over local WiFi with 4-15 players as you attempt to prep your spaceship for departure, but beware as one will be an impostor bent on killing everyone!

Crewmates can win by completing all tasks or discovering and voting the impostor off the ship.
